Modern Art Notes describes Elizabeth C. Gorski as a constructor "known for her entertaining, creative holy cow! grids." She is a frequent contributor to New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. A four-time winner of Simon & Schuster's Margaret Award, Ms. Gorski has written puzzles for every major market. In 2006, she completed the only Sunday puzzle Grand Slam. Her New York Times puzzle, "High Definition," is featured as one of "Five Unforgettable Puzzles" in Wordplay -- Patrick Creadon's 2006 documentary.
Ms. Gorski writes a weekly puzzle for Crossword Nation.
20th Century Fox commissioned her to design a collection of set puzzles for the 2009 Sandra Bullock film, All About Steve. Her custom portfolio includes commissions for advertising agencies and private clients.
A graduate of Barnard College, Ms. Gorski lives in New York City. When she's not gigging on the viola, she plays the blues guitar.
